DialloDj hails from Denver, CO. He started DJing at the age of 15 performing where he could, with what he had. First gig was a birthday party, where he used two stereos with the speaker wire crossed, adjusting the volume to create a mix. Going off only a unique collection of music and drive. One year later he was able to get better equipment and his first club gig. Joined along by two fellow teen DJ’s they opened up for the very successful Dj Jam-X at the Roxy, which started the large boom of teen clubs in Denver area. From there led to many more teen clubs opening and the three teen DJ’s gaining a following to every club they performed. At the age of 18 DialloDj made the decision to put DJing on the back burner for college, still using the media as a hobby and keeping it fresh. Fast forward four years later, with a degree in hand and a new DJ scene in Denver, DialloDj spun underground taking it back to his house party roots and spinning just for the love of music. It wasn’t until he moved to Guam the club called him again. He became a steeple at a tiny bar with a huge following called Fusion Tavern. This is where he left his mark for the past three years. Now in 2011 on the move again he finds his self in DC looking to take his passion for sound even higher. At a DialloDj session you will be taken through all walks of his life and travels. His specialty and favorite being deep house, expect to hear influences of techno, top 40, hip-hop, down tempo, gospel, trance in all his sets.

Hollywood FLOSS is excited to release his brand new street album, One Fan At A Time. The project, being hosted by DJBooth.net is now available for free download.
Since the 2008 release of The Art Or Fiscal Intelligence, Hollywood FLOSS has focused on creating a name for himself, releasing music and performing around the country relentlessly. Pushing forward with his grass-roots movement, One Fan At A Time serves as a testament to his dedication. “One fan at a time is a lifestyle, a work ethic,” FLOSS explains on the meaning behind the title. “Letting supporters and new fans to come know, I will work hard to earn your attention, one fan at a time, no matter how long it takes.”
In keeping the creation process organic FLOSS purposely limited the guest list to a select few whose work he truly admires. “Every feature I reached out to was a vision, part of me being a fan of their work.” FLOSS explains. “I did not just try and get whoever was hot or could help my status.” Building the foundation he called on in house producer Chris Rockaway, but the project also features production from the likes of BrandUN DeSHAY, T.I.M.E., and Sweet Valley High. Gracing the project behind the mic is artists such as Jackie Chain, Laws, YP, Nawledge (of Kidz In The Hall), Solution, and Brian Angel (of Day 26).
The project as a whole spans the an array of emotions provoked from FLOSS’ travels and struggles thus far in the industry, and perhaps no where are those emotions more poignant than on “Exhale.” FLOSS who says that he was “tearing up” in the creation of the song, lays his dreams, fears, and troubles on the line with a level of insight not often heard from an artist so young – and in a way that shows off the growing FLOSS has done in past years. “True fans will see the growth,” explains FLOSS, “and hopefully new fans are pleased and become apart of my movement.” One Fan At A Time.

However, that was my first time ever battling with beats. Knowing I was battling, I definitely found myself in a different frame of mind when I sat down to make joints in the lab. While in the lab, my motivation was making beats that I would have HATED if my opponent played them against me. I took a collection of beats where I had that mind state and mixed them with other beats I made during that time period.
